Best of British Bundle – Express Delivery

Try five British-made wood fuels in one parcel bundle, with firelighters to get you started. A handy way to compare different briquettes and find out what works best in your stove.

Delivered in three cardboard boxes by parcel courier, with a next working day service to most mainland UK addresses. See delivery details below.

    What’s in the bundle?

    • 1x box of Dr Heat Firelighters
    • 1x 10kg Hotmax
    • 1x pack of OKO RUF
    • 1x 10kg Woodlets Heat Logs
    • 1x 10kg Woodlets Briquettes
    • 2x 5kg UK Hardwood Briquettes

Hotmax and UK Hardwood Briquettes are useful for quick heat and getting the fire going. OKO RUF and the two Woodlets products give you different shapes and sizes to try as your main fuel.

    Trying your briquettes

Start with a small amount of each fuel until you know how it burns in your stove. Break larger briquettes into smaller sections where needed.

Leave room for expansion and keep the fuel clear of stove glass. Follow your appliance manufacturer’s instructions.

Store all the fuel completely dry. The packs and delivery boxes should not be treated as waterproof.

    Parcel delivery

Next working day delivery is not guaranteed. Some areas take 2–5 working days. If you need your fuel urgently, please check with us before ordering.

Orders placed after 2pm are dispatched the next working day. We do not dispatch at weekends or on bank holidays.

Boxes may be left in a safe place. Tell us in your order notes if they must not be left unattended.

  • Best of British Ready Mix

Best Of British Flag logo | Wood Fuel Coop

A mixed pallet of British-made wood briquettes and natural firelighters from England and Scotland. Choose a quarter, half or full pallet, with delivery included to most mainland UK addresses.

    Description

Best of British Ready Mix brings together wood briquettes and heat logs made in England and Scotland. It’s a way to try several British fuels on one pallet, from briquettes that help get a fire going to denser blocks that give steadier heat. Dr Heat Firelighters are included too.

Choose a quarter, half or full pallet to suit how much fuel you need and the space you have to store it.

    What’s included?

    Quarter pallet — 237.7kg

    • Dr Heat Firelighters: 1 × box of 30
    • Hotmax: 2 × 20kg bags
    • UK Hardwood Briquettes: 6 × 5kg packs
    • Woodlets Briquettes: 5 × 10kg packs
    • Woodlets Heat Logs: 5 × 10kg packs
    • OKO RUF: 8 × 8.4kg packs

    Half pallet — 457kg

    • Dr Heat Firelighters: 2 × boxes of 30
    • Hotmax: 3 × 20kg bags
    • UK Hardwood Briquettes: 10 × 5kg packs
    • Woodlets Briquettes: 11 × 10kg packs

    Full pallet — 959.9kg

    • Dr Heat Firelighters: 3 × boxes of 30
    • Hotmax: 6 × 20kg bags
    • UK Hardwood Briquettes: 24 × 5kg packs
    • Woodlets Briquettes: 25 × 10kg packs
    • Woodlets Heat Logs: 25 × 10kg packs
    • OKO RUF: 26 × 8.4kg packs

The stated weights include the firelighters. Individual pack weights may vary slightly. If a product is unavailable, we may substitute a suitable alternative while keeping the mix and weight as close as possible to those shown.

    Where are the fuels made?

Hotmax, UK Hardwood Briquettes and Dr Heat Firelighters are made in England. OKO RUF is made in Northumberland from sawdust supplied by a local joinery business. Woodlets Briquettes and Woodlets Heat Logs are made in Scotland.

Using Best of British Ready Mix

Start your fire with a Dr Heat Firelighter and dry kindling. Hotmax or a piece of UK Hardwood Briquette can help bring a cold stove up to temperature. Once the fire is established, try Woodlets or OKO RUF for a steadier burn.

Add fuel gradually and follow your appliance manufacturer’s instructions. Some briquettes expand as they burn, so leave room around them and keep them away from the stove glass. On a suitable open fire, keep the fuel back from the edge of the grate and use a fireguard.

You can compare individual fuels in our Wood Briquette Finder or choose your own combination with Mix Your Own Pallet.

    Storage and delivery

Keep the packs completely dry and move them under cover when your pallet arrives. The pack and pallet wrapping should not be treated as waterproof or used for outdoor storage.

Delivery to most mainland UK postcodes is included in the pallet prices. Some addresses have an additional charge; see our pallet delivery information before ordering.

Palletways deliver kerbside using a manual pallet truck, which needs a firm, flat and level surface. You’ll need to be available to receive the pallet. A 7.5-tonne vehicle may be requested for the quarter or half pallet, but cannot carry the full pallet. Select the access restrictions option at checkout and add your request to the order notes.

  • Waxling Firelighters

waxling wood wool firelighters natural firelighters woodfuel co-operative

Made from fine, kiln dried pine strands (wood wool) coated in candle wax, these dense little firelighters are clean, chemical free and odourless.

    Description

    Waxling Firelighters

    Made from:

Waxling Firelighters are made from fine, kiln dried pine strands (wood wool) coated in candle wax. They are 100% natural, chemical free and odourless, so no smell on your fingers after handling, and they’re completely safe to use.

    Burning characteristics:

A Waxling Firelighter burns for about 8-10 minutes, which is long enough to light any well-built wood fire. Because they’re densely bound, just one in the middle of a handful of cobs or kindlers lights easily. Sometimes you’ll find a Waxling that’s a bit too tightly bound – don’t worry, just twist it a little first to loosen the outer fibres.

There are a few wood wool lighters on the market but many of them are very poor quality, so you need to use a few of them per fire. Waxling Firelighters are one of the best we’ve found, because you only need to use one per fire, which makes them better value then the cheaper packs. They’re also more attractive and cleaner than many alternative brands. Our staff love them!

    Perfect for:

Waxling Firelighters are a clean, natural and very effective way of lighting any wood-based fire. Because they’re so attractive, they’re also a very popular gift item, especially at Christmas. You can use them year round to light barbecues, chimineas, firepits and pizza ovens as well.

    Packaging

Packaged in Perthshire, Scotland by a small family firm, Waxling Firelighters come in plastic bags of 40 firelighters.

The environmental impact of our products is important to us, so we are constantly working with our suppliers to improve the sustainability of their packaging by using cardboard in place of plastic wherever possible.

They are 100% natural, 100% UK made and in cardboard packaging. The colour varies from natural to red or purple, depending on the wax being used. The wax comes from a factory making scented candles and is a waste product that would otherwise end up in landfill. The lighters have a pleasant scent. The production facility is run by solar panels. All packaging materials are 100% recyclable cardboard.

    Burning characteristics:

A Dr Heat Firelighter lights first time, every time and burns for about 10 minutes, which is long enough to light any well-built wood fire. Easy to light.

A clean, natural and very effective way of lighting any wood-based fire. You can use them year round to light firepits, stoves and open fires. For cooking appliances; pizza ovens, BBQs etc, we recommend our unscented Waxling Firelighters.

    What is Miscanthus?

Miscanthus is a high yielding grass, grown specifically for energy production. Dr Heat’s crops are grown in Somerset and harvested in the Spring when they are naturally ripe. This reduces the need for further drying and removes the use of fossil fuels to do so.

Each tonne of Miscanthus burnt instead of coal, will prevent the emission of up to two tonnes of carbon dioxide. An additional benefit of growing Miscanthus is its ability to actively sequester carbon within the crop’s rhizomes. Miscanthus grows again each your from its extensive and expanding rhizome structure, so no need for annual planting with the associated additional carbon footprint.

Miscanthus is recognised as the number one energy crop by the biggest power producers in the UK. It is a carbon neutral replacement for coal.

  • Premium Kindling – Green Nets

Premium kiln dried kindling sticks in nets. Produced in the UK.

    Description

Ready to Burn logo for Kindling - Wood Fuel Co-operative

    Premium Kindling Sticks

What are our Premium Kindling Sticks made from?

Premium Kindling sticks are made in the UK from local, sustainably sourced softwoods. They are kiln-dried, making them ideal for easy firelighting.  These kindlers are an even size and length, at approx 20cm, and they are stacked neatly in a net.

How do I use Premium Kindling Sticks?

Our Premium Kindling Sticks are quick to light from a firelighter. We recommend using four to six sticks per fire, loosely stacked on top of a firelighter.  Once lit, they will burn rapidly for 10 minutes or so, and your main fuel will catch well from these lively flames.

We find that traditional kindling burns quicker than Hotmax or UK Hardwood Briquettes, so if you struggle with firelighting try using one of those instead. If you enjoy tradition though, our Premium Kindling will ignite a well-laid wood based fire easily and effectively.

What are Premium Kindling Sticks suitable for?

They’re ideal for starting a wood-based fire; once the fire is burning well, you can use any mixture of kiln-dried logs, wood briquettes, and smokeless fuels to get the best from your fire.

    Pack: 10kg

    Description

Hotmax 10kg fuel logs are made in the UK from softwood fines extracted during the manufacture of horse bedding. The small pieces light quickly and give a lively flame, making them handy for starting a fire, bringing fading embers back to life or fuelling a smaller stove.

    • Pieces range from around 50mm to 160mm long and are around 70mm in diameter
    • Made in the UK from softwood fines

What is Hotmax like to burn?

Hotmax lights readily and produces heat quickly. Place a few pieces around a natural firelighter, leaving room for air to move between them. You can also add a few pieces to hot embers when a fire is beginning to fade.

Hotmax works as the main fuel in a smaller stove. For a longer fire, you may prefer to use it alongside a slower-burning briquette. Burn time will vary with your stove, flue and airflow settings. Our Wood Briquette Finder can help if you’re deciding what to try.

You can use Hotmax on an open fire too. Add the pieces gradually and place them well back from the front. They may expand slightly as they burn, so leave space around them in an open fire or stove. Keep them away from the stove glass, don’t overload the firebox and use a suitable fireguard with an open fire.

    Technical details

    • Composition: Compressed softwood fines
    • Calorific value: 4.7kWh per kilogram
    • Maximum water content: 7%
    • Maximum ash content: 3%
    • Compression density: Around 1,200kg/m³

    How should I store Hotmax?

Keep the bags completely dry in a garage, watertight shed or other dry space. The paper sacks are not waterproof, so move them under cover when they arrive. A complete pallet is plastic wrapped for transport, but that wrapping only offers temporary weather protection and is not suitable for outdoor storage.

    Delivery and access

  • UK Hardwood Briquettes

Three Everyday Value Briquettes | Wood Fuel Coop
    Dispatch after 21st October

Best for small stoves and quick heat. Easy-lighting hardwood briquette with high flame and fast heat output. Ideal starter briquette or supplementary fuel.

    Dimension: 300mm long x 72mm dia.
    Pack: 4 briquettes = 5kg

    Description

UK Hardwood Briquettes are made in England from compressed hardwood sawdust. They’re easy to light, give a lively flame and produce heat quickly. Their slim shape makes them particularly useful in smaller stoves of up to around 5kW, and you can break them by hand to fit a compact firebox.

    Quick facts

    • 4 briquettes in each 5kg pack
    • Around 300mm long × 72mm diameter
    • Made from mixed hardwood sawdust
    • Easy to break into smaller pieces
    • No artificial additives or binders
    • Ready to Burn certified

    What quantities can I order?

    • Quarter pallet: 48 packs – 240kg
    • Half pallet: 96 packs – 480kg
    • Three-quarter pallet: 144 packs – 720kg
    • Full pallet: 192 packs – 960kg
    • Mix Your Own Pallet: Individual 5kg packs

What are they like to burn?

UK Hardwood Briquettes light readily and bring a stove up to temperature quickly. They burn faster than denser products such as Beech Nestro or RUF Oak. You can use them as the main fuel in a smaller stove or pair them with a denser briquette when you want a longer burn.

Break a briquette into pieces to help light a fire with a natural firelighter, or add a few pieces to hot embers to revive a fading fire. Burn time will vary with your stove, flue and airflow settings. If you’re unsure which fuel will suit your stove, try our Wood Briquette Finder.

You can also use them on an open fire. Break longer briquettes into shorter pieces, place them well back from the front and add them gradually. They may expand as they burn, so leave space around them, whether you’re using an open fire or a stove. Don’t place them against the stove glass, and use a suitable fireguard with an open fire.

You may find a little loose sawdust in a pack, especially if a briquette has broken during handling. This is normal and does not affect how it burns.

    How should I store them?

Keep the packs completely dry in a garage, watertight shed or other dry space. The pack wrapping may have small gaps, and the wrapping around a delivered pallet only gives temporary protection from the weather. Neither is suitable for outdoor storage.

    Roastie Toasties Briquettes

Roastie Toasties are broken-up Woodlets briquettes made from British softwood sawdust. They come in a mix of shorter pieces, making them handy for smaller stoves without needing to break up full-sized logs. They give good heat and an attractive flame, and can also be used on open fires.

    Quick facts

    • Bag: 20kg
    • Piece size: 50–160mm long × around 70mm wide
    • Energy value: 4.8kWh/kg
    • Active burn time: Typically 1½–2 hours, depending on the stove and airflow
    • Moisture: Less than 10%
    • Ash content: Up to 0.9%
    • Made from: British softwood sawdust, with no added binders
    • Certification: Ready to Burn and FSC

    Using Roastie Toasties

The different-sized pieces let you choose how much fuel to add to a small stove or a larger fire. If you need an even smaller piece, they’re generally easy to break by hand. Start with a firelighter and kindling, then add more fuel once the fire is established. Follow your appliance manufacturer’s instructions and avoid overfilling the firebox.

On an open fire, add the pieces gradually and keep them well back from the front. Use a suitable fireguard.

    Bag and pallet quantities

    • Quarter pallet: 15 × 20kg bags — 300kg
    • Half pallet: 25 × 20kg bags — 500kg
    • Three-quarter pallet: 35 × 20kg bags — 700kg

You can also add individual 20kg bags to a Mix Your Own Pallet.

    Storage and delivery

Keep Roastie Toasties completely dry. The bags and pallet are plastic wrapped for handling and delivery, but the wrapping isn’t waterproof or suitable for outdoor storage.

Delivery to most mainland UK postcodes is included in the pallet prices shown. Some addresses have an additional charge, which you can check on our pallet delivery information page.

Palletways deliver pallets kerbside and needs a firm, level surface for unloading. If you need a 7.5-tonne vehicle, your order must weigh no more than 720kg. The quarter, half and three-quarter pallets fall within that limit; the 900kg full pallet needs suitable access for an 18-tonne vehicle.

    Description

Woodlets Briquettes are made in Scotland from softwood sawdust. They give strong heat and a lively flame, and their rounded-square shape helps stop them rolling around on the fire. You can break them by hand to suit the size of your stove or firebox.

    Quick facts

    • 6 briquettes in each 10kg pack
    • Around 295mm × 70mm × 70mm
    • Made in Scotland from softwood sawdust
    • Ready to Burn and FSC certified
    • Suitable for stoves and open fires

    What quantities can I order?

    • Quarter pallet: 24 packs – 240kg
    • Half pallet: 48 packs – 480kg
    • Three-quarter pallet: 72 packs – 720kg
    • Full pallet: 96 packs – 960kg
    • Mix Your Own Pallet: Individual 10kg packs

What are Woodlets like to burn?

Woodlets produce good heat and an attractive flame. Each briquette has an active burn time of around 1.5–2 hours, though this will vary with your stove, flue and airflow settings. Their shape helps them stay in place as they burn. If you’re unsure which fuel will suit your stove, try our Wood Briquette Finder.

Woodlets expand by around 25% of their length as they burn. We recommend breaking them in half and starting with one half at a time until you know how they behave in your stove. Leave room for expansion and keep the fuel away from the stove glass.

You can use Woodlets on an open fire too. Break them into manageable pieces, place them well back from the front and add them gradually. Leave space around the pieces, don’t overload the fire and always use a suitable fireguard.

    Technical details

    • Composition: 100% softwood sawdust
    • Calorific value: 4.8kWh per kilogram
    • Active burn time: Around 1.5–2 hours per briquette
    • Maximum water content: Less than 10%
    • Maximum ash content: 0.9%
    • Compression density: Around 1,100kg/m³
    • Pack contents: 6 briquettes, weighing 10kg in total

    How should I store Woodlets?

Keep the packs completely dry in a garage, watertight shed or other dry space. Their plastic pack wrapping may not be completely sealed and should not be treated as waterproof. A complete pallet is also plastic wrapped for transport, but that only provides temporary weather protection. Move the packs under cover when they arrive.

    Delivery and access

Delivery to most UK mainland postcodes is included in the pallet prices shown. Some mainland and offshore addresses have an additional charge, which you can check using the postcode checker on our pallet delivery information page. Express Packs are sent by parcel courier; see our parcel delivery information.

Pallets are delivered by Palletways, normally to the kerbside using a tail-lift and pallet truck. The driver needs firm, flat ground and cannot move the pallet over gravel, grass, steps or slopes.

If you need a smaller 7.5-tonne vehicle, your order must weigh no more than 720kg. A full pallet weighs 960kg and needs access for an 18-tonne vehicle. Select Access Restrictions at checkout and add a note if you need a 7.5-tonne vehicle. If you’re unsure about access, call us on 01387 731 210 before ordering.

  • Woodlets Heat Logs

    Woodlets Heat Logs

100% natural, premium-grade heat logs from sustainable British sources, Woodlets Heat Logs are a great choice for general burning.

Dimension: 260mm Length per log & 90mm diameter.
    Pack: 5 Logs per pack x  2kg per heat log=  10kg

    Description

    Woodlets Heat Logs

Woodlets Heat Logs are large, cylindrical heat logs made from compressed softwood sawdust. They give strong heat and an attractive flame in wood-burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves and open fires. Each 10kg pack contains 5 logs, and they’re fairly easy to break if a full log is too large for your fire.

    Quick facts

    • Pack: 5 heat logs, around 2kg each
    • Size: Around 260mm long × 90mm diameter
    • Active burn time: Around 1½–2 hours per heat log
    • Energy value: 4.8kWh/kg
    • Moisture: Less than 10%
    • Ash content: Up to 0.9%
    • Made from: British softwood sawdust, with no added binders
    • Certification: Ready to Burn and FSC

    Using Woodlets Heat Logs

These logs expand as they burn. We recommend breaking them in half and starting with one half at a time until you know how they behave in your stove or fire. Leave room for expansion, and keep them clear of stove glass and the front of an open fire. Always follow your appliance manufacturer’s instructions.

The sawdust comes from sustainably managed British forests within 40 miles of the factory. It’s compressed into heat logs without artificial additives or binders.

    Pack and pallet quantities

    • Quarter pallet: 24 × 10kg packs — 240kg
    • Half pallet: 48 × 10kg packs — 480kg
    • Three-quarter pallet: 72 × 10kg packs — 720kg
    • Full pallet: 96 × 10kg packs — 960kg

You can also add individual 10kg packs to a Mix Your Own Pallet.

    Storage and delivery

Keep the packs completely dry. Their plastic wrapping holds the logs together but isn’t guaranteed to be waterproof. The pallet wrapping protects them during delivery; it isn’t suitable for outdoor storage.

  • RUF Long Burn

Three UK RUF Bark briquettes with Ready to Burn logo and UK flag- Wood Fuel Coop

RUF Long Burn briquettes are a softwood bark briquette, produced in England.

    Description

    RUF Long Burn Briquettes

RUF Long Burn briquettes are a dense, slow-burning wood fuel made in the UK from compressed softwood bark. They’re designed for customers who want a steady, longer-lasting burn rather than lots of quick heat.

Their dense construction and high bark content mean they burn more slowly than many standard wood briquettes. Once established, they produce a consistent heat and can be turned down in a suitable stove for an extended burn.

    At a Glance

    Heat: Moderate
    Burn: Very long
    Flame: Moderate
Lighting: Best added to an established fire or hot ember bed

RUF Long Burn can be used safely on an open fire and are a good choice when you want a steady, lower heat output rather than a fierce fire.

They really come into their own in a stove, where controlling the airflow allows you to slow the burn right down and get the best from their long-burning characteristics.

For the longest burn, we recommend adding them to a well-established fire or hot ember bed. If you’re using them on an open fire, they’ll still give a steady, long-lasting burn, but you won’t have the same control over the burn rate that you get with a stove.

How We Use RUF Long Burn

These are a slightly unusual briquette, so it’s worth explaining how we use them ourselves.

In my 5kW stove, I use RUF Long Burn at the end of the evening. Once the main fire has died down and there’s a good bed of hot embers, I place one or two briquettes directly onto the ember bed and close the airflow down fully.

With two RUF Long Burn added at around 10pm, I regularly find the fire is still in at 6am the following morning. By then, the briquettes have burned down to solid, glowing hearts roughly the size of a block of butter. They’re not producing fierce heat, but they help keep the chill off the room and, importantly, leave a good hot base for restarting the fire.

In the morning, I simply open the airflow again and add fresh fuel over the glowing blocks.

Every stove and chimney behaves differently, so overnight performance can’t be guaranteed. Some stoves are also designed so that the airflow can never be completely closed. If yours is one of these, you should expect a faster burn and therefore a shorter overall burn time.

However, from our experience, if you’re looking for a wood briquette with the best chance of keeping a stove gently slumbering overnight, RUF Long Burn is the one we’d choose.

    Burning Characteristics

RUF Long Burn works best once you already have a well-established fire and a good ember bed. It produces a slow, glowing burn rather than lots of flame when the airflow is reduced.

For a longer burn, allow the briquettes to catch before gradually reducing the airflow to the appropriate setting for your stove.

    Best For

    • Longer, slower burns
    • Adding at the end of the evening
    • Maintaining gentle heat overnight
    • Leaving a hot ember base for the following morning
    • Wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves suitable for this type of fuel
    • Mixing with other briquettes when you want to extend the burn

    Technical Details

    • Composition: Softwood bark from UK conifer trees
    • Calorific value: 4.5 kWh/kg
    • Maximum moisture content: Less than 8%
    • Maximum ash content: 4%
    • Product standard: FSC
    • Briquette size: Approximately 150mm × 90–100mm × 62mm
    • Weight per briquette: Approximately 940g
    • Pack size: 10 briquettes, approximately 9.4kg
    • Country of origin: England
    • Suitable for: Wood-burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves and open fires

    How should I store them?

Keep the packs completely dry in a garage, watertight shed or other dry space. The pack wrapping may have small gaps, and the wrapping around a delivered pallet only gives temporary protection from the weather. Neither is suitable for outdoor storage.

  • Kiln Dried Log Nets 10kg

10k Net of local Kiln Dried Logs Ready to Burn | Wood Fuel Coop

Mixed hardwood, kiln dried logs, cut to 9 inch lengths. Supplied in approx.10kg nets. Woodsure Ready to Burn Certified.

    Description

These locally sourced Scottish hardwood logs are kiln dried to a moisture content of approximately 12–18%. They’re easy to light, produce an attractive flame and are suitable for everyday use in most wood-burning stoves and open fires.

The logs are cut to approximately 8–10 inches long and supplied in handy 30-litre nets weighing around 10kg. Add individual nets to a Mix Your Own Pallet to create an order that suits you.

What are these kiln-dried logs made from?

The nets contain locally sourced mixed Scottish hardwood logs.

As this is a natural product, the species, colour, shape and thickness of the logs will vary. Each net gives you a useful mixture of sizes for building and maintaining your fire.

What are they like to burn?

These kiln-dried hardwood logs are easy to light and produce a quick, attractive flame. They give a traditional log fire plenty of character and are a practical choice for everyday burning.

They won’t generally burn for as long or produce as much sustained heat as our densest wood briquettes. However, they’re a good option when you want a lively fire and don’t mind adding fuel more frequently.

The exact burn time and heat output will depend on your stove, chimney or flue, and airflow settings.

    Where can I use them?

These hardwood logs are suitable for:

    • Most wood-burning stoves
    • Multifuel stoves approved for burning wood
    • Open fires
    • Larger fireboxes

The logs are approximately 220–240mm long. They may be too large for some very small stoves, so check your firebox dimensions before ordering.

Are they suitable for open fires?

Yes. These kiln-dried hardwood logs are suitable for open fires as well as stoves.

They produce a quick flame and have the natural appearance and character many people want from a traditional open fire.

When are these logs most useful?

The logs are suitable for everyday burning, but we find them particularly useful during the shoulder months of spring and autumn.

At those times, you may only need the fire for a shorter period and might not require the longer, more intense heat produced by a dense wood briquette.

Are they Ready to Burn certified?

Yes. These kiln-dried hardwood logs are Woodsure Ready to Burn certified.

They have a moisture content of approximately 12–18%, helping them burn more efficiently than wet or unseasoned wood.

You can learn more in our guide to Ready to Burn wood fuel.

    Technical details

    • Composition: mixed Scottish hardwood
    • Calorific value: 4.2 kWh per kilogram
    • Density: approximately 670kg/m³
    • Moisture content: approximately 12–18%
    • Maximum ash content: less than 3%
    • Product standard: Woodsure Ready to Burn
    • Log length: approximately 220–240mm
    • Log width: approximately 60–150mm
    • Net volume: approximately 30 litres
    • Net dimensions: approximately 550mm × 280mm × 200mm
    • Net weight: approximately 10kg

As these are natural logs, the size and weight of individual pieces will vary.

How should the logs be stored?

Keep the logs somewhere dry and well ventilated, preferably under cover.

A suitable log store, dry shed, garage or covered outbuilding will help protect them from rain while allowing air to circulate. Kiln-dried logs can absorb moisture again if they’re exposed to wet conditions.

How can I order the 10kg log nets?

These log nets are available as part of our Mix Your Own Pallet service.

Choose the pallet size you need and add the number of 10kg nets you want. You can combine them with other eligible wood fuels to create a mixed order.

Current prices and availability are shown in the purchasing options above.

What should I know about delivery?

Delivery to most Mainland UK postcodes is included in the pallet prices shown. Offshore and some mainland addresses may have an additional charge, which can be checked using our postcode checker.

Pallet orders are delivered kerbside by Palletline, normally on an 18-tonne lorry with a tail lift.

If you need a smaller 7.5-tonne vehicle, your order must weigh no more than 720kg. Select the Access Restrictions option at checkout and request the smaller vehicle in your order notes.

Please read our full pallet delivery information before ordering. If you’re unsure whether a lorry can reach your property, call us on 01387 731 210.

Why choose our kiln-dried hardwood log nets?

These 10kg nets are a convenient way to add genuine Scottish hardwood logs to a mixed pallet. The logs are easy to light, burn with an attractive flame and are suitable for most stoves and open fires.

Their manageable net size also makes them easier to move and store than a bulk bag.

Choose the number of nets you need and add them to your Mix Your Own Pallet.
