Description
Woodlets Briquettes are made in Scotland from softwood sawdust. They give strong heat and a lively flame, and their rounded-square shape helps stop them rolling around on the fire. You can break them by hand to suit the size of your stove or firebox.

What are Woodlets like to burn?
Woodlets produce good heat and an attractive flame. Each briquette has an active burn time of around 1.5–2 hours, though this will vary with your stove, flue and airflow settings. Their shape helps them stay in place as they burn. If you’re unsure which fuel will suit your stove, try our Wood Briquette Finder.
Woodlets expand by around 25% of their length as they burn. We recommend breaking them in half and starting with one half at a time until you know how they behave in your stove. Leave room for expansion and keep the fuel away from the stove glass.
You can use Woodlets on an open fire too. Break them into manageable pieces, place them well back from the front and add them gradually. Leave space around the pieces, don’t overload the fire and always use a suitable fireguard.

How should I store Woodlets?
Keep the packs completely dry in a garage, watertight shed or other dry space. Their plastic pack wrapping may not be completely sealed and should not be treated as waterproof. A complete pallet is also plastic wrapped for transport, but that only provides temporary weather protection. Move the packs under cover when they arrive.
Delivery and access
Delivery to most UK mainland postcodes is included in the pallet prices shown. Some mainland and offshore addresses have an additional charge, which you can check using the postcode checker on our pallet delivery information page. Pallets are delivered by Palletways, normally to the kerbside using a tail-lift and pallet truck. The driver needs firm, flat ground and cannot move the pallet over gravel, grass, steps or slopes.
If you need a smaller 7.5-tonne vehicle, your order must weigh no more than 720kg. A full pallet weighs 960kg and needs access for an 18-tonne vehicle.
