About the briquettes
Made in England from hardwood sawdust left over from making furniture mouldings, these briquettes contain no added binders or additives. Compression alone holds them together.
They’re easy to break into smaller pieces and can be used in stoves, open fires and chimineas suitable for wood briquettes. Follow your appliance manufacturer’s instructions.
They’re best for quick heat. For a longer fire, use them alongside a denser briquette such as Beech Nestro.

Using and storing your briquettes
Break into smaller sections and light with a firelighter and kindling. Start with a small amount: these briquettes expand during burning, so leave room and keep them clear of stove glass. Use a suitable fireguard on open fires.
Store somewhere completely dry. The wrapping and boxes are not waterproof; avoid open log stores and damp sheds.

About Hotmax
Hotmax is made from softwood fines — sawdust and bark extracted during the manufacture of dust-free horse bedding. The wood is untreated, with no added binders or additives.
The pieces come in different sizes. Smaller ones are useful for lighting the fire, while larger pieces can be broken when needed.

Using and storing Woodlets

Our Wood Fuel Basics pack is suitable for stoves and open fires, but please crack the larger briquettes into half for use in a smaller stove. As to burn time, it is impossible for us to predict as some people burn ’24/7′ whilst others burn ‘as and when required’. Also, some people have large greedy stoves and some have small highly efficient stoves. With any fuel that is new to you you just need to try it and work out which briquette suits your stove, flue and lifestyle. Do not load lots of briquettes onto your stove at one time as they burn hotter and longer than dry logs. Start slowly so you get to know the characteristics of the different briquettes.

Our Cosy Nights In pack is suitable for large or small stoves, but please crack the larger briquettes into half for use in a smaller stove. As to burn time, it is impossible for us to predict as some people burn ’24/7′ whilst others burn ‘as and when required’. We use them in our own Ooni oven and they are excellent. Although the bags are currently not branded as Pizza Pellets, they are exactly the same product as the branded Woodlets Pizza Pellets and will perform exactly as required for perfect pizza every time.

Woodlets are only for use in specially designed pizza ovens, biomass boilers and specialised pellet stoves. They are not suitable for use in wood burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves, or open fires.
