The 90 Day Burn Ready Mix
A full pallet of wood briquettes and natural firelighters, put together with around 90 evening fires in mind. Actual fuel use will vary depending on your stove, airflow settings and the weather.
Mix PalletView in store pricesDescriptionThe 90 Day Burn is a full pallet of briquettes and firelighters for people who use their stove most evenings through the colder months. It combines UK Hardwood Briquettes for getting the fire going with RUF Oak and Beech Nestro for steadier heat.
We’ve put the mix together with around 90 evening fires in mind, based on a 5kW stove burning for roughly four hours each evening. How long it lasts will depend on your stove, airflow, the weather and how much heat you need. 90 days is a guide, not a guarantee.

Using the mix
Start with a Dr Heat Firelighter and dry kindling. Add a piece of UK Hardwood Briquette to help bring the stove up to temperature. Once the fire is established, try RUF Oak or Beech Nestro for a steadier burn.
Add fuel gradually and follow your stove manufacturer’s instructions. These briquettes can expand as they burn, so leave space around them and keep them away from the glass. Beech Nestro heat logs can be broken into smaller pieces for a smaller firebox. On a suitable open fire, keep the fuel back from the edge of the grate and use a fireguard.

Storage and delivery
Keep the packs completely dry and move them under cover when your pallet arrives. The pack and pallet wrapping should not be treated as waterproof or used for outdoor storage.
Delivery to most mainland UK postcodes is included in the pallet price. Some addresses have an additional charge; see our pallet delivery information before ordering.
Palletways deliver kerbside using a manual pallet truck, which needs a firm, flat and level surface. You’ll need to be available to receive the pallet. At around 961kg, this full pallet cannot be delivered on a 7.5-tonne vehicle, so please check that an 18-tonne vehicle can reach your property.

Using the mix
Light your fire with a Dr Heat Firelighter and dry kindling. Add a small amount of Roastie Toasties or UK Hardwood Briquettes to build the fire. Once it is burning well, try Woodlets Heat Logs or OKO RUF for a steadier burn.
Some of these fuels expand as they burn. Leave room in the firebox, keep them away from the stove glass and follow your appliance instructions. They can also be used on a suitable open fire; keep the fuel back from the edge of the grate and use a fireguard.

Woodlets Heat Logs are large, cylindrical heat logs made from compressed softwood sawdust. They give strong heat and an attractive flame in wood-burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves and open fires. Each 10kg pack contains 5 logs, and they’re fairly easy to break if a full log is too large for your fire.

Using Woodlets Heat Logs
These logs expand as they burn. We recommend breaking them in half and starting with one half at a time until you know how they behave in your stove or fire. Leave room for expansion, and keep them clear of stove glass and the front of an open fire. Always follow your appliance manufacturer’s instructions.
The sawdust comes from sustainably managed British forests within 40 miles of the factory. It’s compressed into heat logs without artificial additives or binders.

How should I store Woodlets?

Pallets are delivered by Palletways, normally to the kerbside using a tail-lift and pallet truck. The driver needs firm, flat ground and cannot move the pallet over gravel, grass, steps or slopes.
If you need a smaller 7.5-tonne vehicle, your order must weigh no more than 720kg. A full pallet weighs 960kg and needs access for an 18-tonne vehicle.
