The 90 Day Burn Ready Mix

Welcome to our new Ready Mix pallet, The 90 Day Burn

Everything you need on one pallet to keep you warm for the next 90 days.*

    Made from:

    • Dr. Heat Firelighters are made in the UK from dried chopped miscanthus grass soaked in scented candle wax waste from a candle manufacturing factory.
    • UK Hardwood Briquettes are small, easy to break cylinders made in England by a company producing hardwood furniture
    • UK RUF are a dense softwood RUF briquette.
    • Beech Nestro are made from fine ground pure beech sawdust generated as a by-product from furniture, floor and house frame manufacture.

    Burning characteristics:

    • Dr. Heat Firelighters light easily and burn for about ten minutes, easily setting light to any good dry kindling. We like the fact they are a UK product and a highly effective, easy to use lighter.
    • UK Hardwood Briquettes are easy to light and quick to reach a high operating temperature, which enables your stove to work at maximum efficiency. They burn with a lively flame to start with, then turn red hot and provide a good steady heat for a couple of hours. UK Hardwood Briquettes will expand lengthways as they burn, so place them across your fire rather than pointing towards the hearth.
    • UK RUF are really easy-to-use-briquettes. They burn for around 1 – 2 hours depending on airflow and give off a steady heat for the duration of their burn time.
    • Beech Nestro are acclaimed by many to be the best briquette in Europe. They are made from pure beech hardwood ground to a fine particle size and densely compacted into 4 x 2.5kg briquettes per 10kg pack. They are exceptionally clean to handle even when broken. Burnt whole or cracked into smaller sections they generate a good flame and burn for several hours with a lovely hot glow. Truly the best main fuel briquette you will ever experience.

This mix has been calculated assuming 90 days of evening fires.* Below is a guide on how to achieve this:

Start off with two of the UK RUF briquettes in an open v shape, this will create a heart in your fire.

Place a lit firelighter in the centre of the two RUF Oak.

Break up one UK Hardwood Briquette into four sections and place these round the firelighter.

Open the air vents fully for the UK Hardwood to get well alight, but monitor the air flow so it doesn’t get out of control.

After half an hour or so, place half a Beech Nestro on top of the well-lit UK Hardwood. Be careful to place it across the fire, so the end is not facing the glass, as it will expand slightly as it burns. This should last over an hour before needing more Beech adding. This mix allows for up to 2.5 Beech briquettes to be used each evening. To maximise burn time, do not prod the fire with a poker.

*We have based our quantities on an average 5kw stove, lit every evening around 6pm and burning actively until approximately 10pm, under average winter weather conditions. This will vary depending on the efficiency of your stove, weather conditions, outside tempertures and airflow settlings. Open fires are even more difficult to predict, as they are not as efficient as stoves. 90 days is a guide, not a guarantee. Please talk to us if you have any queries and we will try to tailor a mix to meet your specfic circumstances.

The 90 Day Burn is perfect for:

Getting the most out of your stove. Easy to light and simple to keep burning, this mixture of briquettes will suit most stoves & open fires.

None of our briquettes contain additives or chemicals. They are made from pure, untreated wood by-product and are held together by compression alone.

    Full Pallet:

    64 x Beech Nestro

Pallet Orders are delivered by our partner couriers, Palletways, not our own drivers.

Your goods are delivered on a pallet, the footprint of which is usually approximately 1.2m x 1m. The height of the pallet depends on the products you’ve ordered but may be up to two metres high.

The maximum weight of a pallet is 980kg.

Our pallet courier will normally deliver your order on an 18 tonne lorry with a tail lift. This means the kerbside of your property must be accessible to a large vehicle. If a bin lorry can access the road then an 18 tonne lorry should be able to as well but it will be up to the driver to determine this.

If Palletways are unable to deliver to the kerbside of your property, for example because of access restrictions which mean a 7.5t vehicle will not be able to get to the property’s kerbside, we will need to put special delivery arrangements in place. These arrangements may incur additional charges, for which you, the customer, are responsible. If you think you may need alternative arrangements please let us know prior to ordering so we can get a quote for you.

For detailed information on pallet deliveries, please see our dedicated page.

We recommend storing your briquettes indoors only.

    DO store your briquettes in:
      • Watertight shed
      • Dry garage
      • Porch or conservatory
      • Inside house
      • Dry outbuildings
      • Some plastic garden stores, as long as they are watertight
DO NOT store your briquettes in:
      • Traditional log stores
      • Uncovered, outdoor areas
      • Buildings that are damp or have high humiditiy levels
Traditional log stores are open or vented. This is because logs require airflow around them to keep them dry. Briquettes are already dry so if they are exposed to moisture they will start to expand. This makes them useless for burning. Storing your briquettes the right way is really important. A damp briquette will just turn back into sawdust!

    Packaging

To keep them in good condition, these briquettes come in plastic wrapped packs. Please check with your local authority for recycling facilities. Packs are plastic wrapped but not always fully sealed, as the pakaging is there to hold the briquettes in place, not to waterproof them. Please take this into account when deciding where to store your briquettes. Pallets will arrive wrapped in plastic to protect them during their journey. This plastic will temporarily protect them from inclement weather but is not suitable for outside storage. Please ensure you are able to cover/protect the pallet if you are not able to put it under cover immediately.

    The All-Rounder Ready Mix

Welcome to our new Ready Mix pallet, The All-Rounder – a selection of our best Nestro briquettes on one pallet.

    Made from:

    • Waxling Firelighters are made from fine, kiln dried pine strands (wood wool) coated in candle wax. They are 100% natural, chemical free and odourless, so no smell on your fingers after handling, and they’re completely safe to use.
    • Hotmax is made in the UK from softwood fines (sawdust and bark) extracted whilst making dust free horse bedding. The wood used is all from sustainably managed British forestry and the Hotmax cobs are made using a product that would have otherwise gone to landfill.
    • Aspen Briquettes are made from clean, kiln-dried aspen sawdust. The sawdust is a byproduct from sauna manufacturing; trees are not felled specifically to make these briquettes. They are well compressed with minimal dust. A lovely pale golden colour, with a gentle outer sheen from their excellent, high compression levels, these briquettes are as attractive as they are effective.
    • UK Hardwood Briquettes are small, easy to break cylinders made in England by a company producing hardwood furniture
    • Woodlets Heat Logs are manufactured by the same company behind our best selling Woodlets Briquettes, the new larger Heat Logs are made from mixed softwoods, compressed into dense, large, cylindrical briquettes. The sawdust comes from sustainably managed British forests all within 40 miles of the factory.
    • Beech Nestro are made from fine ground pure beech sawdust generated as a by-product from furniture, floor and house frame manufacture.

    Burning characteristics:

    • A Waxling Firelighter burns for about 8-10 minutes, which is long enough to light any well-built wood fire. Because they’re densely bound, just one in the middle of a handful of cobs or kindlers lights easily. Sometimes you’ll find a Waxling that’s a bit too tightly bound – don’t worry, just twist it a little first to loosen the outer fibres.
    • Hotmax Two or three cobs will produce fast heat and flame, leaving a good ember base. Use a handful of Hotmax with a Waxling firelighter in the centre to get the fire going quickly. They do expand slightly, so place them carefully in the fire so they don’t expand onto the glass window or hearth.
    • Aspen Briquettes are large, nestro style heat logs with a hole down the middle of them. This makes them very versatile and easy to use. Broken into small pieces they are excellent for starting the fire; in halves or thirds they are a pleasantly hot, long-burning main fuel. They are perfect for general burning and do not have as fierce a heat as briquettes such as Beech Nestro and Pini-Kay. This means it’s easy to control the heat output. With controlled airflow, they can burn for hours while still giving out good, steady heat. Aspen in briquette form is an excellent firewood and has none of the drawbacks of aspen in traditional log form. It does not spit or pop, and is long burning. As with most nestro briquettes, Aspen briquettes will expand when burning, so unless you have a large stove we recommend you break them in half by tapping two together.
    • Woodlets Heat Logs are a dense briquette weighing around 2kg , and is perfect for all stoves and open fires. Generating excellent heat with an attractive flame, you can expect an active burn time of 1.5 – 2 hours. Because they’re relatively easy to break they can be used on all sizes of stove or open fire.

    The All-Rounder is perfect for:

Those who like the versatility of Nestro briquettes and getting the most out of their stove. Easy to light and simple to keep burning, this mixture of briquettes will suit most stoves & open fires.

None of our briquettes contain additives or chemicals. They are made from pure, untreated wood by-product and are held together by compression alone.

    Woodlets Briquettes Express

Woodlets Briquettes are 100% natural, premium-grade heat logs from sustainable British sources

    Made from:

Woodlets Briquettes are made from mixed softwoods, compressed into dense heat logs. The sawdust comes from sustainably managed British forests.

Woodlets Briquettes Ready To Burn logo - Wood Fuel Co-operative

    Burning characteristics:

Each briquette weighs around 1.67kg, and is perfect for all stoves and open fires. Generating excellent heat with an attractive flame, you can expect an active burn time of 1.5 – 2 hours. The rounded square shape is practical and popular because it stops the heat log from rolling on the fire. Because they’re easy to break they can be used on all sizes of stove or open fire.

    Perfect for:

Suitable for both stoves and open fires, Woodlets Briquettes produce great heat with an excellent flame. Be careful if using them full size though – they expand approximately 25% of their length whilst burning. Always break in half and use half at a time (except for starting where you would use three half briquettes) until you get used to their burning characteristics.

Woodlets Briquettes are certified Ready to Burn and they comply with the Clean Air Act – in fact, they exceed it! This also means they’re suitable to use in Smokeless Zones on DEFRA-approved appliances. An image of the UK flag

Ready to Burn is a UK Government certification that means that the heat logs have passed rigorous chemical analyses and meet FSC standards. So you can rest assured that they are safe, sustainable and clean-burning.

None of our briquettes contain additives or chemicals. Made from pure, untreated wood by-product, Woodlets Briquettes compression alone holds them together.

Due to industry regulation changes, if you require a 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle the maximum pallet weight you can order is 720kgs. If you are unsure what vehicle size you need please phone us on 01387 731 210 to discuss your requirements.

Pallet Orders are delivered by our partner couriers, TPN, not our own drivers.

Your goods are delivered on a pallet, the footprint of which is usually approximately 1.2m x 1m. The height of the pallet depends on the products you’ve ordered but may be up to two metres high.

The maximum weight of a pallet for non-restricted access deliveries is 980kg.

Our pallet courier will normally deliver your order on an 18 tonne lorry with a tail lift. This means the kerbside of your property must be accessible to a large vehicle. If a bin lorry can access the road then an 18 tonne lorry should be able to as well but it will be up to the driver to determine this.

A good guide is to expect the driver to leave your pallet where your bin goes out for collection.

If TPN are unable to deliver to the kerbside of your property, for example because of access restrictions which mean a 7.5t vehicle will not be able to get to the property’s kerbside, we will need to put special delivery arrangements in place. These arrangements may incur additional charges, for which you, the customer, are responsible. Express Packs:

Wood Fuel express pack orders are sent with APC, who offer a Next Working Day service to most of the UK. Some areas are on a 2-5 day service, so if you need your order urgently please check with us first.

We do not guarantee Next Working Day delivery, although we will always dispatch your order as quickly as possible to ensure it has the best chance of arriving when you need it. Orders placed after 12pm will generally be dispatched the next day, or on Monday if placed after 12pm on a Friday.

For further information on delivery, please see our dedicated page.

Our pallet courier will normally deliver your order on an 18 tonne lorry with a tail lift. This means the kerbside of your property must be accessible to a large vehicle. If a bin lorry can access the road then an 18 tonne lorry should be able to as well but it will be up to the driver to determine this. As a guide, please check the measurements:

Length of vehicle: 11 metres; Height of vehicle 4 metres. 18T & 7.5T vehicles are the same width.

The driver may not be able to access your road if there are:
    • low overhead lines or low hanging branches
    • low bridges or bridges with weight limits
    • narrow access roads that prevent the vehicle manoeuvering/turning

    Restricted Access
If you think that an 18 tonne lorry will not be able to access your road, we can ask TPN to use a smaller vehicle. For this option, please ensure:
    • your order weighs no more than 720kg
    • you tick the ‘Access Restrictions’ button at checkout
    • you put in your order notes that you require a 7.5T vehicle

7.5T is the smallest vehicle we can request. If you’re not sure, please phone us on 01387 731 210 and we can check your access for you.

Woodlets Heat Logs – Large Softwood Heat Logs

Woodlets Heat Logs are large, cylindrical logs made from compressed softwood sawdust. They produce excellent heat with an attractive flame and are suitable for general burning in stoves and open fires.

Each heat log weighs approximately 2kg. They’re relatively easy to break, so you can adjust the size to suit your stove or firebox.

What are Woodlets Heat Logs made from?

Woodlets Heat Logs are made from mixed softwood sawdust sourced from sustainably managed British forests, all within 40 miles of the factory.

They’re manufactured by the same company that makes our bestselling Woodlets Briquettes.

There are no additives, chemicals or artificial binders. The pure, untreated wood by-product is held together by compression alone.

What are they like to burn?

Woodlets Heat Logs give strong heat with an attractive, active flame. Each log has an active burn time of approximately 1.5–2 hours.

The exact results will vary depending on your stove, flue and airflow settings.

    Where can I use them?

These heat logs are suitable for stoves and open fires. Although they’re larger than standard Woodlets Briquettes, they’re relatively easy to break into smaller pieces.

This makes them suitable for a range of stove and firebox sizes.

If you’re unsure whether Woodlets Heat Logs are right for your stove, our Wood Briquette Finder can help.

Do I need to break them before burning?

Yes, at least until you’re familiar with how they behave in your stove.

Woodlets Heat Logs expand as they burn, so we recommend breaking them in half and using one half at a time. When starting the fire, use three half-logs.

Leave enough room for the pieces to expand and don’t position a full heat log where it could expand against the stove glass or out onto the hearth.

Can I use them in an open fire?

Yes. Woodlets Heat Logs are suitable for open fires as well as stoves.

Because they’re relatively easy to break, you can adjust the size of the pieces to suit your fire.

Can they be used in a Smoke Control Area?

Woodlets Heat Logs are suitable for use in Smoke Control Areas when burned in a DEFRA-approved appliance.

They’re Ready to Burn certified and meet FSC sustainability standards.

You can read more about the scheme in our guide to Ready to Burn wood fuel.

    Technical details

    • Composition: 100% softwood sawdust
    • Calorific value: 4.8 kWh per kilogram
    • Active burn time: approximately 1.5–2 hours
    • Maximum water content: less than 10%
    • Maximum ash content: 0.9%
    • Compression density: 1,100kg/m³
    • Product standards: FSC and Ready to Burn
    • Heat log length: approximately 260mm
    • Heat log diameter: approximately 90mm
    • Weight per heat log: approximately 2kg
    • Pack size: five heat logs, approximately 10kg

How should Woodlets Heat Logs be stored?

Woodlets Heat Logs must be kept completely dry.

Suitable storage places include a watertight shed, dry garage, porch, conservatory, dry outbuilding or inside the house. They can also be kept in a watertight plastic garden store.

Don’t leave them in a traditional open log store, an uncovered area or a damp building. Compressed wood fuel is already very dry and will absorb moisture if exposed to it. Once damp, the logs begin to expand and can eventually turn back into sawdust.

    Is the packaging waterproof?

No. Each pack is plastic wrapped to hold the heat logs together, but the wrapping isn’t fully sealed or waterproof.

Pallets also arrive plastic wrapped to protect them during transport. This provides temporary protection from the weather, but it isn’t suitable for outdoor storage. Make sure you can move the fuel under cover or protect it as soon as it arrives.

Please check with your local authority to find out whether the packaging can be recycled in your area.

    What quantities can I order?

Woodlets Heat Logs are available in several quantities:

    • Mix Your Own Pallet: one 10kg pack
    • Quarter Pallet: 24 packs — 240kg
    • Half Pallet: 48 packs — 480kg

    • Full Pallet: 96 packs — 960kg

Each 10kg pack contains five heat logs weighing approximately 2kg each.

Current prices and availability are shown in the purchasing options above.

    Is delivery included?

Delivery to most mainland UK postcodes is included in the pallet prices shown. Offshore and some mainland addresses may have an additional charge, which can be checked using our postcode checker.

Pallet orders are delivered kerbside by Palletways, normally on an 18-tonne lorry with a tail lift.

If you need a smaller 7.5-tonne vehicle, your order must weigh no more than 720kg. Select the Access Restrictions option at checkout and request the smaller vehicle in your order notes.

Please read our full pallet delivery information before ordering. If you’re unsure about access, call us on 01387 731 210.

DELIVERY INCLUDED TO MOST UK MAINLAND ADDRESSES. Check for Surcharges

If you think you may need alternative arrangements please let us know prior to ordering so we can get a quote for you.

For detailed information on pallet deliveries, please see our dedicated page.

    Woodlets Heat Logs

Woodlets Heat Logs are 100% natural, premium-grade heat logs from sustainable British sources

    Made from:

Manufactured by the same company behind our best selling Woodlets Briquettes, the new larger Heat Logs are made from mixed softwoods, compressed into dense, large, cylindrical briquettes. The sawdust comes from sustainably managed British forests all within 40 miles of the factory.

    Burning characteristics:

Each briquette weighs around 2kg, and is perfect for all stoves and open fires. Generating excellent heat with an attractive flame, you can expect an active burn time of 1.5 – 2 hours. Because they’re relatively easy to break they can be used on all sizes of stove or open fire.

Woodlets Briquettes Ready To Burn logo - Wood Fuel Co-operative

    Perfect for:

Suitable for both stoves and open fires, Woodlets Heat Logs produce great heat with an excellent flame. Expansion will occur whilst burning so best to break in half and use half at a time (except for starting where you would use three half briquettes) until you get used to their burning characteristics.

Woodlets Heat Logs are certified Ready to Burn and they comply with the Clean Air Act – in fact, they exceed it! This also means they’re suitable to use in Smokeless Zones on DEFRA-approved appliances.

Ready to Burn is a UK Government certification that means that the heat logs have passed rigorous chemical analyses and meet FSC standards. So you can rest assured that they are safe, sustainable and clean-burning.An image of the UK flag

None of our briquettes contain additives or chemicals. Made from pure, untreated wood by-product, Woodlets Heat Logs compression alone holds them together.

Goldies Heat Logs – Softwood Nestro for Small Stoves

Goldies are premium-grade softwood heat logs made from sawdust sourced from sustainably managed Scottish forests. Shorter than a standard Nestro, they’re particularly well suited to smaller stoves and open fires.

They give excellent heat with an attractive flame, while the hole through the centre improves airflow and helps them burn well.

What are Goldies Heat Logs made from?

Goldies are made from mixed softwood sawdust from sustainably managed Scottish forests. The sawdust is compressed into short, dense Nestro heat logs.

They contain no additives, chemicals or artificial binders. The untreated wood by-product is held together by compression alone.

What are they like to burn?

Goldies produce excellent heat with an attractive flame. Their active burn time is approximately 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, although this will vary depending on your stove, flue and airflow settings.

The hole through the centre allows air to move through the log, helping it burn evenly.

Which stoves are Goldies suitable for?

At approximately 200mm long, Goldies are a good choice for smaller stoves where a standard Nestro heat log may be too large.

They can also be broken into smaller pieces when lighting the fire or when using them in a particularly small firebox.

If you’re unsure whether Goldies are right for your stove, our Wood Briquette Finder can help.

Can I use Goldies on an open fire?

Yes. Goldies are suitable for open fires as well as wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves.

Their compact size makes them easy to position, and they provide strong heat with a lively, attractive flame.

Do I need to break them before burning?

Goldies are shorter than standard Nestro heat logs, so they may fit into your stove without being broken.

However, you can break them into smaller pieces when starting the fire or if your stove has a very small firebox. Make sure there is enough room for the fuel to burn safely without pressing against the stove glass.

Can Goldies be used in a Smoke Control Area?

Goldies are suitable for use in Smoke Control Areas when burned in a DEFRA-approved appliance.

They’re Ready to Burn certified and meet FSC standards. You can find out more in our guide to Ready to Burn wood fuel.

How should Goldies Heat Logs be stored?

Goldies must be kept completely dry.

A watertight shed, dry garage, porch, conservatory or dry outbuilding is suitable. They can also be stored inside your home or in a watertight plastic garden store.

Don’t keep them in a traditional open log store, an uncovered outdoor area or a damp building. Heat logs are already very dry and will absorb moisture if exposed to it. Once damp, they begin to expand and can eventually turn back into sawdust.

    • Half Pallet: 67 packs — approximately 496kg
    • Three-Quarter Pallet: 100 packs — 740kg
    • Full Pallet: 130 packs — 962kg

Each pack contains five heat logs. Current prices and availability are shown in the purchasing options above.

What should I know about delivery?

All displayed pallet prices include delivery to most mainland UK addresses. Offshore addresses may have an additional charge, which can be checked using our postcode checker.

Pallet orders are delivered kerbside by The Pallet Network (TPN), normally on an 18-tonne lorry with a tail lift.

If you need a smaller 7.5-tonne vehicle, your order must weigh no more than 720kg. This means the three-quarter and full pallets cannot be delivered on a 7.5-tonne vehicle. Select the Access Restrictions option at checkout and request the smaller vehicle in your order notes.

You’ll find more information in our pallet delivery guide. If you’re unsure whether a lorry can reach your property, call us on 01387 731 210 before ordering.

    Why choose Goldies Heat Logs?

Goldies are compact, high-quality heat logs made from sustainably sourced Scottish softwood sawdust. Their shorter length makes them particularly convenient for smaller stoves, although they also burn well on open fires.

They provide excellent heat with an attractive flame, contain no additives or chemicals, and are FSC and Ready to Burn certified.

If you think you may need alternative arrangements please let us know prior to ordering so we can get a quote for you.

For detailed information on pallet deliveries, please see our dedicated page.

Woodlets Briquettes – UK-Made Softwood Briquettes

Woodlets are premium-grade briquettes made in Scotland from softwood sawdust. They produce excellent heat with an attractive flame and are suitable for general burning in stoves and open fires.

Their rounded-square shape is practical as well as distinctive: it helps stop the briquettes from rolling around on the fire. They’re also easy to break, so you can adjust the size to suit your stove.

What are Woodlets Briquettes made from?

Woodlets are made from mixed softwood sawdust from sustainably managed British forests.

They contain no additives, chemicals or artificial binders. The untreated wood by-product is held together by compression alone.

What are they like to burn?

Woodlets give strong heat with a lively, attractive flame. Each briquette has an active burn time of around 1.5–2 hours, although this will vary depending on your stove, flue and airflow settings.

The rounded-square shape helps the briquette stay in position rather than rolling around as it burns.

    Where can I use them?

Woodlets Briquettes are suitable for stoves and open fires. They’re easy to break, so you can adjust the size to suit anything from a smaller stove to a larger firebox.

If you’re unsure whether they’re right for your stove, our Wood Briquette Finder can help.

Do I need to break them before burning?

Yes, at least until you’re familiar with how they behave in your stove.

Woodlets expand by approximately 25% of their length as they burn. We recommend breaking them in half and using one half at a time. When lighting the fire, use three half-briquettes.

Be careful not to position a full briquette where it could expand against the stove glass or out onto the hearth.

Can I use Woodlets in an open fire?

Yes. Woodlets work well in open fires as well as stoves.

Their square profile is particularly useful here because it helps to stop the briquettes from rolling as they burn.

Can they be used in a Smoke Control Area?

Woodlets Briquettes are suitable for use in Smoke Control Areas when burned in a DEFRA-approved appliance.

They’re Ready to Burn certified and meet FSC sustainability standards.

You can read more about the scheme in our guide to Ready to Burn wood fuel.

    Technical details

    • Composition: 100% softwood sawdust
    • Calorific value: 4.8 kWh per kilogram
    • Active burn time: approximately 1.5–2 hours
    • Maximum water content: less than 10%
    • Maximum ash content: 0.9%
    • Compression density: 1,100kg/m³
    • Product standards: FSC and Ready to Burn
    • Briquette size: approximately 295mm × 70mm × 70mm
    • Weight per briquette: approximately 1.67kg
    • Pack size: six briquettes, approximately 10kg

How should Woodlets Briquettes be stored?

Like all wood briquettes, Woodlets need to be kept completely dry.

A watertight shed, dry garage, porch, conservatory or dry outbuilding is suitable. They can also be stored inside the house or in a watertight plastic garden store.

Don’t leave them in a traditional open log store, an uncovered area or a damp building. Briquettes are already very dry, so they’ll absorb moisture if exposed to it. Once damp, they begin to expand and can eventually turn back into sawdust.

    Is the packaging waterproof?

No. Each pack is wrapped in plastic to hold the briquettes together, but the wrapping isn’t fully sealed or waterproof.

Pallets are also plastic wrapped to protect them during transport. This offers temporary protection from the weather, but it isn’t suitable for outdoor storage. Make sure you can move the fuel under cover or protect it when it arrives.

Please check with your local authority to see whether the packaging can be recycled in your area.

    What quantities can I order?

Woodlets Briquettes are available in several quantities:

    • Mix Your Own Pallet: one 10kg pack
    • Express Pack: two 10kg packs — 20kg
    • Quarter Pallet: 24 packs — 240kg

    Is delivery included?

Delivery to most Mainland UK postcodes is included in the pallet prices shown. Offshore and some mainland addresses may have an additional charges, which can be checked using our postcode checker.

Express Packs are sent by parcel courier. Pallet orders are delivered kerbside by Palletways, normally on an 18-tonne lorry with a tail lift.

    Baby Beech Express

    Made from:

Baby Beech are made in Germany from pure beech grindings, which produce a dense, low dust briquette. The beech sawdust comes from a company producing high-end beech products and structures. These Baby Beech are the smaller brother of our bestselling Beech Nestro; made by the same company, they use slightly larger grindings to make a dense, clean short nestro.

    Burning characteristics:

Each heat log weighs around 1.5kg, making them ideal for smaller stoves. For the very smallest stoves, they can be broken in half. This is easy to do – break them by sharply tapping two of the heat logs together. They’re very highly compressed, so they produce very little dust and this density helps them burn for a couple of hours. Best of all, they also produce huge amounts of heat with an attractive flame. They expand by about 25% as they burn, so place them across the firebox and just use small amounts until you’re confident with their burning characteristics on your particular stove or fire. They generate a consistent heat so you don’t have to be up and down loading the stove or adjusting the air flow.

    Perfect for:

Great for smaller stoves and open fires, or for people who don’t want to have to break the larger Beech Nestro in half.

None of our briquettes contain additives or chemicals. They are made from pure, untreated wood by-product and are held together by compression alone.

Beech Nestro are made in Germany from pure beech grindings, which produce a dense, low dust briquette. The beech sawdust comes from a company producing high-end beech products and structures. These Beech Nestro are quite simply the best briquette we have ever found – probably the best briquette in the world.

Each chunky log weighs around 2.5kg, so they’re great for bigger stoves. For smaller stoves, just break them into half before using. This is easy to do, – break them by sharply tapping two of the heat logs together. They’re very highly compressed, so they produce almost no dust and this density helps them burn for several hours. Best of all, they also produce huge amounts of heat with an attractive flame. They expand by about 25% as they burn, so place them across the firebox and just use small amounts until you’re confident with their burning characteristics on your particular stove or fire. Storing Your Briquettes – The Basics: DO store your briquettes in:

    Packaging

These briquettes come in plastic wrapped packs. Please check with your local authority for recycling facilities. Each pack is plastic wrapped but not always fully sealed. They are not in waterproof packaging. There will often be gaps in the wrap, due to the wrapping process. The wrap is only there to hold the packs together, rather than to weatherproof them.
