Please note: although these logs are well under 20% moisture content, we class them as Slight Seconds due to their variable size and appearance. Some logs are oversized and may require splitting. This product is not refundable.

Pure hardwood kiln dried logs – predominantly oak but may contain other hardwood species.

Kiln dried mixed hardwood logs, cut to 10″ and dried to 12-18% moisture content. Although all are 10″ long, some logs are oversized and may need splitting. These logs are shipped in Bulk Bags strapped to a pallet and wrapped in plastic, to ensure they arrive with you dry and in perfect condition.

Made from:

Pure mixed hardwoods, predominantly oak.

Burning characteristics:

These are dense chunky logs producing steady heat over a long period of time. Slower burning than Birch and great value. Although all the logs are cut to 10″ some of them are very chunky and may need splitting for smaller stoves.

Perfect for:

Day to day burning on all but the very smallest of stoves. Great for open fires. Logs are especially suitable during the shoulder months when less heat is required and we don’t mind stoking the fire as frequently.
