Roastie Toasties Briquettes

Roastie Toasties are broken-up Woodlets briquettes made from British softwood sawdust. They come in a mix of shorter pieces, making them handy for smaller stoves without needing to break up full-sized logs. They give good heat and an attractive flame, and can also be used on open fires.

Using Roastie Toasties

The different-sized pieces let you choose how much fuel to add to a small stove or a larger fire. If you need an even smaller piece, they’re generally easy to break by hand. Start with a firelighter and kindling, then add more fuel once the fire is established. Follow your appliance manufacturer’s instructions and avoid overfilling the firebox.

On an open fire, add the pieces gradually and keep them well back from the front. Use a suitable fireguard.

Bag and pallet quantities

  • Quarter pallet: 15 × 20kg bags — 300kg
  • Half pallet: 25 × 20kg bags — 500kg
  • Three-quarter pallet: 35 × 20kg bags — 700kg
  • Full pallet: 45 × 20kg bags — 900kg

Storage and delivery

Keep Roastie Toasties completely dry. The bags and pallet are plastic wrapped for handling and delivery, but the wrapping isn’t waterproof or suitable for outdoor storage.

Delivery to most mainland UK postcodes is included in the pallet prices shown. Some addresses have an additional charge, which you can check on our pallet delivery information page.

Palletways deliver pallets kerbside and needs a firm, level surface for unloading. If you need a 7.5-tonne vehicle, your order must weigh no more than 720kg. The quarter, half and three-quarter pallets fall within that limit; the 900kg full pallet needs suitable access for an 18-tonne vehicle.
