Description
These small Grab Bags contain kiln-dried alder logs for wood-burning stoves, suitable multi-fuel stoves and open fires. They are Ready to Burn certified, with moisture content below 20%, so no further seasoning is needed.
Supplied in 16.5 litre bags, the logs measure 21–25cm long. Check your firebox dimensions before ordering, particularly if you have a small stove.
What are they made from?
Alder hardwood sourced from responsibly managed forests. The logs are kiln dried and supplied in plastic bags.
What are they like to burn?
These logs produce plenty of heat with a natural flame and very little ash. They’re a practical choice for everyday burning when you enjoy the look and feel of a traditional log fire.
Who are they for?
Grab Bags suit customers who prefer bagged firewood or have limited storage space. They can also be used in wood-fired pizza ovens and chimeneas designed to burn logs.
