What is Superheat like to burn?
Superheat produces steady, controllable heat and is designed to burn for a long time.
Its compact briquette shape makes it straightforward to handle and arrange on the fire. Once established, the fuel can be controlled using the airflow settings on a suitable appliance.
Actual heat output and burning time will depend on your appliance, chimney or flue, airflow settings and the amount of fuel used.

Can Superheat be used overnight?
Superheat slumbers well and can provide long-lasting heat when the airflow is reduced.
Only operate an appliance overnight if it is designed for extended or overnight burning. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and make sure your chimney or flue is properly maintained.
Can I use Superheat in a Smoke Control Area?
Yes. Superheat is suitable for use in Smoke Control Areas and is Ready to Burn certified.

What quantities can I order?
Superheat is supplied in 25kg bags and is available in the following quantities:
- Mix Your Own Pallet: 1 × 25kg bag
- Quarter pallet: 10 × 25kg bags – 250kg
- Half pallet: 20 × 25kg bags – 500kg
- Three-quarter pallet: 30 × 25kg bags – 750kg
- Full pallet: 40 × 25kg bags – 1,000kg
Is delivery included?
Delivery to most UK mainland postcodes is included in the pallet prices shown.
Some mainland and offshore addresses carry an additional surcharge. Enter your postcode using our postcode checker to confirm the delivery charge for your address.
Pallet orders are delivered by Palletline. Standard delivery normally takes 2–3 working days from dispatch, although dispatch may take a little longer during busy periods. Someone must be present to receive the order.
How will my pallet be delivered?
Delivery is made at the kerbside using a tail-lift vehicle and manual pallet truck.
The delivery point must have a firm, flat and level surface. Pallets cannot be moved safely over gravel, grass, steep slopes, steps or uneven ground.
Deliveries are normally made on an 18-tonne vehicle. As a rough guide, if a bin lorry can reach your property, an 18-tonne delivery vehicle should normally be able to reach it too. The driver will make the final decision about whether access is safe.
The pallet will normally be left at the kerbside or where your bins are placed for collection.
What if access to my property is restricted?
A smaller 7.5-tonne vehicle can carry no more than 720kg. It may therefore be requested for a quarter or half pallet of Superheat.
The three-quarter pallet weighs 750kg and the full pallet weighs 1,000kg. Neither can be delivered on a 7.5-tonne vehicle, so both require suitable access for an 18-tonne delivery vehicle.
If you require the smaller vehicle, select the access-restrictions option at checkout and add your request to the order notes. A 7.5-tonne vehicle is the smallest delivery vehicle we can request.
