Burning characteristics
Easy to light, with a quick, attractive flame. Birch burns more quickly than oak, so you’ll need to top up the fire more often.
Like all logs, they bring plenty of character to the fireplace.
Perfect for
Everyday burning in wood-burning stoves and open fires. The logs are 24–25cm long, so check they’ll fit if you have a particularly small stove.
We sometimes use logs in spring and autumn, when less heat is needed and we don’t mind stoking the fire a little more frequently. Birch is a good choice for this, as it gets going easily and gives a lovely flame.

The logs arrive neatly stacked. The loose volume is the space the same quantity of logs would take up if tipped into a pile.
Delivery and storage
These logs are delivered by pallet. Please read our pallet delivery information before ordering to check that your access and unloading area are suitable.
Once your crate arrives, remove the protective plastic and store the logs under cover in a dry, well-ventilated place.
