Turbo Hard are made in the Czech Republic from beech and oak sawdust, and contains traces of bark which lengthens the burn time. The hardwood sawdust comes from a company producing high-end furniture.
Turbo Hard are a large nestro (cylindrical) briquette with a hole through the middle. They are very versatile and can be broken for smaller stoves, or used whole in larger stoves. They burn hot and have a good glow time. They are an excellent hardwood version of Blazers and have similar burning characteristics. The trace bark content lengthens burn time. Turbo Hard will expand while burning, so place them across the fire and do not overload.
Great for medium size stoves, Turbo Hard produce a lot of heat with an excellent flame.
None of our briquettes contain additives or chemicals. They are made from pure, untreated wood by-product and are held together by compression alone.

Plastic is widely used for wrapping briquettes, in order to ensure that they stay dry, as a damp briquette will break up and be unsuitable for burning. The environmental impact of our products is important to us, so we are constantly working with our suppliers to improve the sustainability of their packaging by using cardboard in place of plastic wherever possible.
