Description
Description
UK RUF Bark is a dense softwood briquette made from the bark of UK softwood conifer trees.
Because they’re square, RUF blocks don’t roll in the hearth, so they’re easy and safe to use in an open fire.
Burning characteristics:
UK RUF Bark react quickly to air flow. They light easily and burn brightly with the stove vents open but quickly go into slumber mode with the air vents closed. In slumber mode they will last anywhere between four and eight hours depending on air flow and the quality of your stove. These briquettes do expand whilst burning so should be broken into smaller sections for small stoves.
UK RUF Bark are Perfect for:
UK RUF Bark are perfect for extending the life of your fire either through the day or overnight.
Our briquettes are all additive-free. They are made from pure, untreated wood by-product and are held together by compression alone.
