These cut Pini-Kindle are absolutely the very best kindling we have ever found. Simply place two or three sections around your lit firelighter and they will quickly catch giving an excellent flame which will rapidly ignite even the densest briquette or log. An additional benefit to Pini-Kindle over kindling sticks is that they last much longer and help create a really good heart in your fire.
Regarding cost; assuming you use six traditional kindling sticks to light your fire, the cost is likely to be around 24 pence per lighting, whilst Pini-Kindle will cost around 22 pence per lighting, but will last considerably longer and create a much better heart in your fire.
Pini-Kindle heatlogs do not expand, making them very good for an open fire. Already broken for convenient starting, they light easily and quickly, producing excellent heat very quickly. Unlike kindling sticks they do not ‘spit and crackle’.
Their very dense compression means that they are clean to handle and produce a lot of heat for their size.
Pini-Kindle are great for use as an alternative to kindling sticks. The same product as our Pini-K logs, with the same attributes, they are safe and easy to use as they do not expand. As a bonus, they look very attractive as they burn!
None of our briquettes contain additives or chemicals. They are made from pure, untreated wood by-product and are held together by compression alone.

Pini-Kindle come in cardboard box, which is widely recyclable. Please check with your local authority for recycling facilities.
The briquetting industry uses plastic to wrap wood briquettes in order to ensure they stay dry, as damp briquettes break up and are unsuitable for burning. The environmental impact of our products is important to us, so we are constantly working with our suppliers to improve the sustainability of their packaging by using cardboard in place of plastic wherever possible.
