Description
Oak Pini-K Heatlogs
Made from:
Oak Pini-K heatlogs are 100% sawmill by-product.
None of our briquettes contain additives or chemicals. They are made from pure, untreated wood by-product and are held together by compression alone.
Burning characteristics:
Oak Pini-K heatlogs do not expand, making them very good for an open fire. They produce a beautiful flame and then glow red hot like a long bar of steel. They last a long time and generate a considerable amount of heat relative to their size. Easy to break up, they can be used at any stage of your fire, from kindling to long daytime burning. Oak Pini-K are suitable for using on their own, but can also be mixed with other briquettes or logs.
Their very dense compression means that they are clean to handle and produce a lot of heat for their size.
Perfect for:
Oak Pini-K are great all-rounders. Break them into smaller sections and they are easy to light, or use them whole for long daytime burning. Ideal in open-fires, they are safe and easy to use as they do not expand. As a bonus, they look very attractive as they burn!

Packaging
Oak Pini-K heatlogs come in a shrink-wrapped plastic outer. Please check with your local authority for recycling facilities. We also offer a Pini-K in a box, if you prefer to minimise plastic packaging.
The briquetting industry uses plastic to wrap wood briquettes in order to ensure they stay dry, as damp briquettes break up and are unsuitable for burning. The environmental impact of our products is important to us, so we are constantly working with our suppliers to improve the sustainability of their packaging by using cardboard in place of plastic wherever possible.
