The Cobs are a blend of Oak and Spruce sawdust. 100% natural, premium-grade heat logs from sustainable British sources
Made from:
Manufactured by a firm in England making Oak-framed buildings and general joinery, these cobs are excellent value for money. They are an ideal size for smaller stove and do not need breaking before use.
Burning characteristics:
The cobs vary in size, with most being 5-20cm long. Generating excellent heat with an attractive flame. A small handful of these cobs burn for a couple of hours, depending on size of cob and airflow.
Perfect for:
Suitable for both stoves and open fires, Mixed Cobs produce great heat with an excellent flame. Expansion will occur whilst burning so don’t load too many on the fire until you get used to their burning characteristics.
Mixed Cobs are certified Ready to Burn. This also means they’re suitable to use in Smokeless Zones on DEFRA-approved appliances.
Ready to Burn is a UK Government certification that means that the heat logs have passed rigorous chemical analyses and meet FSC standards. So you can rest assured that they are safe, sustainable and clean-burning.
None of our briquettes contain additives or chemicals. Made from pure, untreated wood by-product, Mixed Cobs compression alone holds them together.
