Our Fuel Finder result: If your open fire is more decorative than functional, a mixture of traditional logs and our Oak Pini-Kay briquettes will give you the best of both worlds. A cosy, bright flame and a bit more heat compared to using logs alone.

Blazers are an ideal multi purpose briquette in that they can be broken into sections to enable easy lighting and the half or full briquettes make a perfect main fuel.

Their long burning characteristics make them a perfect log replacement. They produce a very attractive flame and generate good heat.

Coffee Logs

Bio- Bean Coffee Logs are an unique product, made in England from waste coffee grounds mixed with sawdust from local sawmills. The coffee grounds are collected from cafes, offices, factories, universities etc throughout the UK, repurposing a waste product.

They’re very dense cobs and are a great, hot-burning fuel. Coffee Logs burn long and slow under normal airflow conditions – more air will give a gentle flame and good heat. They perform very well mixed with other fuels.

Easy to break up, use them at any stage of your fire, from kindling to long daytime burning. Hotties heatlogs are suitable for using on their own, but can also be mixed with other briquettes or logs.

Their very dense compression means that they are clean to handle and produce a lot of heat for their size.

Great Flames: Blazers Heat Logs: Blazers are excellent softwood briquettes, made in Wales from 100% virgin timber, sustainably sourced in the UK. They are FSC and Woodsure (Ready to Burn) certified. Blazers expand lengthways as they burn, so remember to place them across the firebox, in order to prevent them touching the door or falling onto the hearth. We recommend breaking them into half or smaller, as this makes them easier to control as they burn.

Because they’re square, RUF blocks don’t roll in the hearth, so they’re easy and safe to use in an open fire.

Suitable for both stoves and open fires, Woodlets Briquettes produce great heat with an excellent flame. Be careful if using them full size though – they expand approximately 30% of their length whilst burning. Always break in half and use half at a time (except for starting where you would use three half briquettes) until you get used to their burning characteristics.
